Day 1: Arrival in Manali and Local Sightseeing

  • Your Volvo bus will arrive at the Manali Bus Stand early in the morning. You can request an early check-in at your hotel in advance, subject to availability, to freshen up and settle in.
  • After checking in, arrange for a self-driven bike, which will allow you to explore Manali at your own pace during your stay.
  • After lunch, head out for a local sightseeing tour. Start with a visit to the serene Hadimba Devi Temple, followed by the tranquil Shri Vashishtha Temple. Continue to the Manu Temple in Old Manali, and end your day with a cozy dinner at one of the charming cafés in the vibrant Old Manali area.

Manali Dining: Manali boasts a vibrant culinary scene, with a wide variety of restaurants scattered across popular areas like Old Manali, Mall Road, and the Siyal area. Whether you’re in the mood for traditional Himachali cuisine or international flavors, there’s no shortage of culinary delights to explore!

Manali Accommodation: For an unforgettable stay, consider booking a room with stunning mountain views. If that’s not possible, ensure that the common areas of your accommodation offer scenic vistas to enhance your experience. For a more serene and peaceful environment away from the town’s hustle and bustle, consider staying along Goshal Road, Burwa Road, or Naggar Road, where you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes and a tranquil ambiance.

Manali Sightseeing: For sightseeing, choose the mode that suits you best: a shared SIC taxi for a budget-friendly experience, a private cab for a more personalized tour, or a self-driven rental car or bike for greater flexibility and independence.

Day 2: Scenic Drive and Exploration

  • After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, get ready for one of the most scenic drives you’ll ever experience.
  • We’ll head towards the Atal Tunnel, a 9-km engineering marvel and the highest single-tube tunnel in the world.
  • Upon crossing the North Portal of the Atal Tunnel, you’ll be immersed in stunning landscapes that seem like a different world, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
  • Take some time to soak in the beauty of the area, then head right towards Rohtang Pass, where you’ll encounter a series of picturesque landscapes along the way.
  • After exploring Rohtang, return to the Atal Tunnel exit and head in the opposite direction towards the enchanting destinations of Sissu, Khangsar, and Keylong.
  • Stop for a break at a local restaurant in Keylong, where you can enjoy delicious dishes such as Maggi, pancakes, noodles, and more, all while marveling at the views of snow-capped peaks.
  • To ensure a safe return, make sure to head back to Manali by 3:00 PM. The drive will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
  • After returning to Manali, enjoy dinner at one of the great restaurants on Mall Road, where a variety of dining options await. If you’re feeling too tired, you can also choose to dine at the hotel and relax for the night.

Day 3: Adventure in Solang Valley

  • Today, embark on an exciting drive to Solang Valley, a hub for thrilling outdoor activities. Here, you can try your hand at riding the Gandola (ropeway), paragliding, skiing (during the winter season), horse riding, zorbing, and much more!
  • After your thrilling adventures in Solang Valley, take a detour to Gulaba Viewpoint along the old Rohtang Pass road, where you’ll be treated to mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
  • On your way back to the hotel, make sure to stop at Nehru Kund, a serene spot that offers beautiful views of the lush landscape and the nearby river.
  • For dinner, you can explore the vibrant dining scene on Mall Road, visit the charming eateries in Old Manali, or enjoy a peaceful meal at one of the cozy cafés along the Beas River for a more relaxed experience.

Day 4: Departure from Manali

  • On your final day in Manali, savor a leisurely breakfast and take a moment to relax, soaking in the breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks one last time.
  • Afterward, return your rented bike and make your way to the Manali Bus Stand to board your Volvo for the journey back to the plains, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your time in this stunning hill station.
